Forget New York City or Chicago, Westfield is a dream for foodies. Park Street just south of downtown has been endearingly named “Restaurant Row.” There is a restaurant for all tastes and cravings along Restaurant Row. You can even take a shuttle from a nearby parking lot on the weekends!

2) Play or Cheer On (All Kinds of) Sports at Grand Park
The Grand Park Sports Campus is the shining highlight of Westfield. The sports facilities are vast, with a 400-acre campus, 31 multi-purpose fields, 26 diamonds, and 3 indoor facilities! Grand Park is the perfect place to spend a warm summer evening with friends playing sports like:
- Soccer
- Football
- Baseball
- Rugby
- Field hockey
- Lacrosse
And when it’s too cold outside, head to their indoor facilities for games of:
- Basketball
- Volleyball
- Futsal
Grand Park is also the home of the Indianapolis Colts’ training camp, so it is perfect for sports fans and spectators to view local games and professional practices alike.
3) Have a Picnic at Cool Creek Park
There is no shortage of opportunities to explore nature in Westfield. With dozens of local parks, you are sure to find a relaxing place to go for a walk, ride bikes, or find a fun playground for the kids.
One of our favorite parks in Westfield is Cool Creek Park. It is one of the most popular parks in Hamilton County, and for a good reason. This 90-acre park offers 4 miles of wooded nature trails, winding paved roads perfect for biking and roller skating, and an engaging play area for kids.
The Nature Center Auditorium on-site often hosts programs for nature lovers and kids throughout the year. There are plenty of open areas, shelters, and picnic tables throughout the park to enjoy a picnic on a nice day.
4) Saddle Up at Golden Oak Equestrian Center
If you’re looking for something different to do, why not try horseback riding? That’s right; Westfield is home to Golden Oak Equestrian Center, a year-round equestrian training facility. You can take private or group horseback riding lessons where you will learn how to groom, tack, and ride a horse. They even offer horse camps for kids!
5) Practice Your Putt-Putt at Birdies
For another unique activity in Westfield, check out miniature golfing at Birdies. Birdies isn’t your grandpa’s mini-golf, but instead, the course is ornate and impressive with waterfalls and fire pits. Birdies also has a grill house and sports bar, so come for the delicious food and beer, and stay for a fun round of putt-putt!
The restaurant takes reservations, but mini-golf is always first-come-first-served. Be sure to check out their weekly specials— kids eat free on Tuesdays!

6) Escape in Time at The Escape Room USA
The Escape Room USA- Westfield is one of the most popular attractions in town. If you’ve never been to an escape room, you will have a blast using the elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape before time runs out.
Games are set in a variety of locations across 3 unique themed rooms. The Escape Room USA goes above and beyond other escape rooms by incorporating authentic props, sounds, and sets. This activity is perfect for date nights, corporate team building, and family outings.
You can even enjoy local craft beers and wines in the lounge area before or after you head into the escape room. You’re sure to have a blast at this unique Westfield activity.
7) Watch History Come Alive at Conner Prairie
